Friday, September 25th

SuperKids Resale Huge Consigment Event in Gresham. You will find rows and rows of clothes, toys, shoes, baby gear, books, games, room decor, outdoor toys, maternity, and more.  This 4 day shopping extravaganza is a great place to buy all your kids' back to school clothes or the essentials for your baby. Thursday-Sunday. Hours vary. Admission is free!

Trading at the River Native Marketplace in NW PDX. This celebration of Native American Day will include music, dancing, art and vendors. Fun for all ages. Friday, noon-7 pm. Free!
Paulaner Oktoberfest at Oaks Park in SE PDX. This fall time festival features authentic German food and beer, oompah bands, polka dancing and more. Friday-Sunday. Hours vary. $2-$5. Park attractions sold separately. 
Saturday, September 26th
Birding by Big Canoe in Vancouver. Ages 5 and older are invited to become citizen scientists. Work in small teams led by field experts as you paddle along, cataloging wildlife and plant species. Pre-registration required. Saturday, 7:30-9:30 am and 9:30 am-noon. Free!

NWCT Presents 'Elephant & Piggie, We are in a Play' in NW PDX. Perfect for first-time theater-goers, this upbeat musical explores the world of "bestus friends" Gerald the Elephant and Piggie the Pig. Together, they tackle friendship's big questions. Saturday and Sunday, 10 am and 1 pm. $17-$23. 

Hoedown at Zenger Farm in SE PDX. Enjoy square dancing and a pig roast, as well as food and beverage offerings from local favorites such as Pine State Biscuits, Salt & Straw Ice Cream, Hopworks Urban Brewery and more! All ages are welcome. Saturday, 5-9 pm. Free for 5 years and younger. $10-$25 for 5 years and older. 
Between The Lines at Maverick Main Stage Productions in NE PDX. This performance by an all-youth cast is back by popular demand and will address issues such as racial tension, gentrification and coming of age. Saturday, 7-10 pm. $5-$15. 
Sunday, September 27th
Sunday Parkways in SE PDX. The local staple is coming to a close with this 8.5-mile ride across the new Tilikum Crossing and through Westmoreland, Brooklyn and Sellwood parks, where riders will find music, food and fun awaiting their arrival. Sunday, 11 am-4 pm. Free!
Harvest Festival in NW PDX. Learn about the Sukkot holiday with music, storytelling, gourd-decorating and information about sustainable living and hunger issues. Sunday, 1-2:30 pm. Free!
