Friday, September 5th
YogaTots at Studio Mamalates. Introduce your toddler to yoga through music, rhymes, story, and play. Best for ages 18 months-3 years. $10/child. Friday 9:30-10:30am.
Music with Mr. Hoo at the Village Ballroom. Enjoy fun, interactive music that incorporates traditional songs and goofy new ones. $5/family. Friday 11am-12pm.
Free First Friday at the Children's Museum. Enjoy free admission the first Friday of every month. Friday 4-8pm.
Saturday, September 6th
Beaverton Celebration Day and Pooch Parade. Watch some adorable pups or sign up to showcase your own as part of Beaverton's celebration day. Free! Saturday 10am.
Forward Stride Open Barn in Beaverton. Learn about this unique program that improves lives through equine-assisted activities and therapies. The celebration includes tours, riding demos, manes-or-tails games, kids activities, and more. Free, with $5-10 for lunch tickets. Saturday 10am-2pm.
Kids Club: Plant a Salad Bowl in Woodburn. Kids will plant a mixture of different lettuces to take home. Registration is required. $5. Saturday 11-11:45am.
Lan Su Mid-Autumn Festival. Come to the Chinese Garden to celebrate one of the four most important holidays on the Chinese calendar. Activities include making your own red lantern, Chinese storytime, lion dancing, and more. Free with admission. Saturday and Sunday 11am-5pm.
Once Upon a Time Family Theatre Presents The Boy Who Cried Wolf in SE PDX. Join for a performance of this cautionary tale about the importance of being honest followed by a craft activity. $2 adults, $1 children, plus an additional $1 for the craft. Saturday 12-2pm.
Tallulah's Daddy at Mississippi Pizza. Join for musical fun and exploration - and pizza! $10/family suggested donation. Saturday 4pm.
Sunday, September 7th
Family Tours at the Portland Art Museum. Bring your family to explore the museum with a docent skilled at engaging visitors of all ages. Free with admission, and free for children 17 and younger. Sunday 12:30-1:30pm.
Lumberjack Breakfast at the World Forestry Center. Enjoy pancakes plus entertainment courtesy of Radio Disney. Kids can also plant their own seedling to take home. Ticket price includes admission to the museum. $12 adults, $6 kids. Sunday 9-10:30am or 11am-12:30pm.
