Free contemporary dance workshop with Portland Ballet in SW PDX. Dancers ages 12-19 can join for this free workshop. Please register to attend. Friday 10am-1pm.
Music with Mr. Hoo at the Village Ballroom. Mr. Hoo of the Alphabeticians performs fun music for kids and their grownups. $5/family. Friday 11am-noon.

Free Admission to Local Museums. Folks with a Bank of America card can get free admission all weekend to the Portland Art Museum, Portland Children's Museum, and Portland Japanese Garden. See museum websites for hours.
Kids Cook at the PSU Farmers Market. Junior chefs ages 7 to 11 cultivate their culinary skills with farm-fresh ingredients at the market. This week: fresh market fruit kabobs with yogurt and granola. $5. Please pre-register. Saturday 8:30-10am.
Once Upon a Family Theatre at Portland Metro Arts. Once Upon a Family Theatre presents The Princess who Never Smiled, a theatrical experience for all ages. After the show, families are invited to stay for arts & crafts. Show is $1 children/$2 adults. Craft activity is an addition $1 per person. Saturday 12-1pm.
Shakespeare in the Park: A Midsummer Night's Dream in Oregon City. Staged! Youth Summer Stock Theatre presents this free performance of one of Shakespeare's most-loved comedies. This performance is abridged and accessible for families and kids. Free! Saturday and Sunday 2pm.
Sunday, August 3rd
Sundae in the Park at Sellwood Park. Sellwood's biggest event of the year is here! Enjoy music, a climbing wall, and other fun before finishing up the evening with a screening of Back to the Future. Free! Sunday noon-11pm.
