Clark County Fair - Pirates, petting zoos, music, monster trucks, and all you've come to expect from this county fair! Friday - Sunday. Admission $10 adult, $7 ages 7-12, free ages 0-7.
LEGO® Master Builder at Washington Square. Help a real LEGO® Master Builder construct an eight foot tall The Hulk™ during a three day LEGO building event at Washington Square. Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm. Free!
Summer Fest and Garlic Out West in North Plains. It's chic to reek at this event - vendors, 5K & 10K, parade, live music, arts & crafts, BBQ and more. Who doesn't love garlic?. Friday - Sunday. Free!
Music with Mr. Hoo at Village Ballroom. Mr. Hoo (one half of The Alphabeticians), plays fun music for kids and their grown-ups. He plays guitar and kazoo, and sings songs that get the audience clapping and moving and singing along. Friday 11am-noon. $5/family.
Parklane Superhero Scramble - a free activity-based fun run. Come as your favorite superhero or villain and win prizes. Friday - registration at 5pm, scramble at 6:20pm. Open to all ages. This event is an extension of the Parklane Neighborhood Fair (beginning at 4pm) followed by Movie in the Park: The Avengers (begins at dusk). Free!
Kids Cook Classes at Portland Farmers Market - Classic Tomato Bruschetta. A deliciously fun cooking program for young chefs-in-training (ages 7-11). Pre-registration encouraged. Saturday 8:30-10am. $5.
Washington Park Summer Festival - A proud tradition in Portland, the Washington Park Summer Festival offers ten consecutive evening performances in the gorgeous Washington Park Rose Garden Amphitheater. Friday: NW Dance Project's In Good Company, With Deejay Anjali & Eden Hana - Saturday Caña Son. 6pm. Free!
Big Truck Day at Conestoga Rec Center. See many types of trucks and vehicles up close - even honk the horns. Event also includes video games, safety experts, prizes, food, arts & crafts, face painting and more. Saturday 10am-2pm. Free!
Mama & Baby Yoga at Pod + Kin. Bring your new little one for this playful, interactive postpartum yoga class. Saturday 11:30am-12:30pm. $14 drop-in.
Alberta Street Fair. The 16th Annual Alberta Street Fair is this Saturday from 11am-6pm - Celebrating the diversity and uniqueness that is Only on Alberta, this will be the best Street Fair yet for the young & young at heart!

Traditional Technology Day at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. Experience traditional tools and technologies our human ancestors have used across the globe, and enjoy many hiking and wildlife watching opportunities. Sunday noon-4pm. Free!
Play Palooza at Cafe au Play. Summer Music Festival featuring music and entertainment by The Alphabeticians, Red Yarn, Olive Rootbeer and Dingo Dizmal, and Tallulah's Daddy. Each act will perform a set, culminating in an all-star jam where all four acts will perform together. In addition to music, there will also be face painting, gigantic bubbles and balloon animals with Olive and Dingo, a puppet making workshop with Red Yarn and an instrument making workshop with Tallulah's Daddy. Sunday 3-7pm. Tickets are $7 per person, and are available at the door. No charge for babes in arms.Hope this gives you some ideas. Have fun out there!
