I'm going back to work next week and my husband will be staying home (in NE Portland) with our 5 month old son. Do you know of any networks (i.e. like urbanMamas) for stay at home dads?

I'd offer up the same advice for moms looking for connections. I've met a great number of dads at the indoor park (some have a baby park, for kids under 18mos) and parks and rec classes. There's a ton of dads out there at home with babes.

My husband has taken my 5 y/o son on hikes with Outdoor Dads which is a nice organization of dads and a few moms who like to hike with any age (using packs for babies of course). Here's a link:
