urbanPapa Doctor Recommendation?
We urbanMamas are interested in good health for urbanPapas, too! Christina has a great question:
I have a question I'm asking on behalf of the UrbanPapa in my family. I've always taken for granted the fact that I have a doctor who specializes in women's health issues, but my husband has been looking for a doctor who specializes in men's health and has come up empty. He'd like to have a doctor he can go to for a general check-up, talk about various issues and build a relationship. Any recommendations? I want him to live a long, healthy life!

My husband goes to Cascade Physicians at Emanuel. I think they have two male Dr.'s.
He is very happy there.

Dr. Justin Yohalem Ilsely at Mississippi Health Center is wonderful. He's a naturopath and an acupuncturist and can help your husband with most health issues.

I've seen this PA for kind of different reasons (constantly sick baby & demented dad) but he's awesome, takes time to talk, explains things really well, & has great staff who make sure to take care of out-of-the-ordinary requests. The only problem is he only works 2 days per week, but the other staff make an effort to cover. His name is LYNN CATON & he's at OHSU FamilY Practice in the Waterfront building (formerly family practice on Marquam Hill).
