Cell Phone Towers Near Schools

I just became aware that a cell phone tower has gone up across the street from my public school. I am looking for resources and advice on how the parents can work to remove this. I would appreciate any resources related to the science and policy of cell phone towers near schools.

My family just moved to Portland about five months ago. I would love to see some info posted on your school connections section about Alameda Elementary. It is our neighborhood school, but it seems rather large for a K-5, so I'd love to hear what others have to say about it.
