I provide a gradual bridge from home life with a small group ratio (no more than 6 children at a time). Within a cozy home setting, children are given individual attention in a nurturing and unhurried atmosphere.
Our days are woven together in a gentle tapestry of rhythm, movement and song, providing a secure and comforting environment that young children can thrive in. Together, we will enjoy child-directed play, baking, music, painting, gardening, circle time, yoga, folk and fairy tales from diverse cultures, outdoor play, nature and walks.
Parental involvement is vital in every aspect of our program, including open communication, planning, sharing of ideas, general volunteering and attending seasonal celebrations...

Our daughter attended Heather's school summer '08 and we were delighted! Our child came home with natural craft projects, stories and songs, new knowledge of plants, bugs and gardening, and was very peaceful. The children seemed immersed in imaginative play with scarves, dress-up, puppet theater, and music. She is highly attuned to the natural world. This little school is truly a hidden gem just off the Mississippi thoroughfare. Heather is genuinely non-judgmental, kind, and organized! The perfect home-away-from-home for the little one closest to your heart.

I just wanted to comment that Heather is our neighbor and she is wonderful with our daughter. I would be happy to be a reference for her,
