Connect: Hayhurst School's Odyssey Program

Aviva recently emailed asking about the Odyssey Program at the Hayhurst School, saying "I would like to talk with other parents about what’s going on there this year."  Care to share experiences with the program?

I'm not sure yet, but I'm also intereted. We've enrolled our kindergartener there with the lottery and have done a few class visits. It seems that the history base is very keen for the kids. They have groupings of kids: k-2, 3-5, 6-8- which provides a lot of group work and kids are able to work at different levels if need be. My concern was if the grouping would be kind of chaotic. I've observed a few classes and while it did seem hectic, it was no more so than the regular kindergarten class at hayhurst. If anyone has kids there now, it would be great to hear more.
