Hello, Urban Mamas. I'm glad to see such a wonderful site exists here in Portland!
I just moved to Portland a month ago, and the change of scenery must have done me good because I became pregnant just a couple weeks later.
So, while I'm not having bouts of sadness and panic about being far away from my family and friends, I'm searching out the care of an excellent OB/GYN. I spent hours on the internet doing some research (that's when I found urbanMamas) and it looks as though Providence Medical Center and Women's Health Today have had many satisfied patients. I called today and made an appointment with Dr. Nancy Grant at WHT. Does anyone know or have had any experiences with her? If so, I'd love to hear about it.
I'd also like to hear recommendations for other docs. (My appointment isn't until 10/14-- week 10!-- so I have some time to evaluate my choices.)

Postpartum chiropractic care on NE Broadway. I just had a baby about a month ago and my body was wrecked from the pregnancy and labor.
