This sale is a benefit for a local mom who needs to raise money for lawyer fees. She left an abusive relationship and was granted a restraining order, but now the ex has hired a lawyer to try to contest it and get unsupervised access to their son. Please come out and support this worthy cause!

A new session of Baby Moves and Stretch, Dance, Play! start this week!

 

What: Join Growing Arts Creative Movement educator Iris Nason for engaging classes exploring dance with your child.  Stretch your body and your mind will stretch too as you learn all the ways you are able to move!  This interactive movement class will include yoga, singing, dancing, music, stories, sensory exploration, sign language and relaxation.

Portland Early Learning Project is enrolling for SEPTEMBER Baby Sign Language in Play Classes!!

PELP's Baby Sign Language in Play classes are taught by speech-language pathologists and early childhood specialists, classes take signing with baby to a new level.  Families learn: how to sign effectively, developmental info for recognizing signs, strategies to encourage baby to sign back and more - all while having fun participating in play & songs to give ideas for carry-over & success at home!

6 week class introduces 75+ American Sign Language signs: everyday, meal-time, play-time, animals & more.

New classes in NE Portland, SE Portland, & Lake Oswego starting as soon as September 2nd!!

Some friends of ours are in a children's musical group called Mista Cookie Jar and the Chocolate Chips (the "Chips" are the couple's kids). They are a multi-genre sound with elements of hip-hop, reggae, etc. The are visiting from LA and doing a musical tour of Portland.
