Change your skin, change your life!

May 12, 2011

Two pregnancies left me with splotchy melasma all over my face.  Many products, facials and trips to the dermatologists later, I'm thrilled to have found products that work.  The Doctors who created Proactiv have a new company, Rodan + Fields Dermatologists. It used to be the #1 clinical skin brand in Nordstrom, but they figured out they were selling like hotcakes because people like us bought it, fell in love with the products, then told everyone we knew. That's when they made the brilliant decision to move the company to direct selling, the first big retail brand to ever do so.
 Roller
That was just two years ago, and most of the country is still completely untapped. So I'm thrilled to announce that Rodan + Fields has come to Portland! I'm launching this market, so bring me your blemishes, sun damage, sensitive skin and, by all means, your wrinkles. In fact, the Doctors are committed to owning the aging skincare market with the first real over-the-counter solution that produces results that rival or beat expensive and invasive in-office procedures. Our new, patent-pending AMP MD Anti-Aging System that was featured on the Today show as a "must-have for anti-aging in 2011" and is up for an Allure Magazine "Beauty Breakthrough" Award. Visit www.bestspentminute.com to learn more.

I'd love to help you get the best skin of your life, so contact me so I can help you determine what the Doctors recommend for your skin. All products come in 2-month supplies and with a 60-day money-back guarantee. And I can hook you up with 10% off and free shipping.

I'm also committed to growing a team of dynamos to launch the Pacific Northwest with me. See, this time around, the Doctors aren't using celebrities like Jessica Simpson to market their products. Our clinically proven, award-winning skincare is only available through people like me, a stay-at-home mom of two little boys who teaches an occasional parenting class and wants to spend part-time hours building substantial residual income. So I'd love to be connected with those you know who are self-motivated, love people, are coachable, have 15 hours a week. My team is being coached by the top recruiter in the company and former Seattleite, Romi Neustadt.   Romi will help us meet the demand in the Rose City and beyond, and for those of us interested, will help us replicate what's she's done -- built a multiple six-figure income in less than 2 years working from home around her two little kids.

I have a generous Referral Rewards Program: anyone you send my way who becomes a Preferred Customer or a Consultant earns you free product!  And we're having an exclusive launch event in a couple weeks, so please contact me if you'd like a spot on the guest list.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Seeking A Creative, Savvy Mom for a Temp, Part-Time Position

October 18, 2010

Part Time Personalized Jewelry Marketing Assistant needed for seasonal work (Late October through December 2010, or the 3 month period that follows your sign-on date).

An independent Southern California jewelry designer is seeking a special individual to promote her work in the Portland area. Our personalized jewelry is a specialty niche that is very attractive to moms (and women, in general) between the ages of 25-45. We have a great reputation as a small creative, innovative business. Our product sells itself fairly well and receives lots of word-of-mouth promotion amongst customers once it is introduced to our target customers. We love to facilitate this process with fun marketing by real people who love to make connections!

 Responsibilities include:

 1. Making connections on the social media (i.e., Twitter, Facebook).

2. Casual networking at one live social event per month that caters to our target customers (i.e., a mom’s group, birthday party, baby shower - basically events you may already be attending).

3. Setting up a monthly group appointment with interested customers who would like to place custom orders in person with the designer (this is often a customer request though you would need to provide design pre-consultation to interested attendees). Group appointments can also be set up at mom/baby boutiques.

4. Participating in one sales/marketing event per month (i.e., setting up a table of designs and marketing materials at a holiday boutique event, art show, farmer's market or other multi-vendor event).

5. Maintaining a database of Portland customer email and physical addresses.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

Is fairly well connected in mom communities both in the Portland area and online, particularly with moms who value artful, higher end products.

Is social media savvy and can communicate well online without being pushy and too sales-pitchy.

Has at least 10-15 hours per week to devote to this position.

Is creative and has amazing self-initiative (you create your schedule, as long as the work gets done!).

Has a warm, fun personality.

Is comfortable with sales and marketing and can strategize a plan of action to meet weekly and monthly goals.

Compensation:

$500 per month plus 20% commission.

$500 is based on showing concrete proof that responsibilities have been met in each of the 5 categories above. We will help you do this will a weekly strategizing session.

Typical commission amount that results from a group appointment of 4-6 customers is approximately $200, and additional commission is can be generated from individual sales.

This is a fun opportunity and once you see our unordinary jewelry, you will see how easy it is for others to fall in love with it. This position has a strong likelihood of turning into a permanent position with added creative responsibilities. Serious inquiries only...and please, we are not looking for someone who basically wants a job. We really need someone who is creative, goal-oriented and can invest some heart, soul and inspiring energy into our lovely business and be a part of a team of other incredible marketing reps. Thank you!
