250 sq ft Commercial Space for Rent-$550 per month

A cute little space available for rent in the back of our music school.  You would have your own seperate entrance, your own bathroom (with shower) and two rooms including a sink, cabinets for storage and a gas line (for an oven if needed).  Would be a great office space, music related retail or recording space, art studio, or even a small commercial kitchen space.  Must not mind possible noise coming from the music school.  Available immediately and lease terms negotiable.  Includes all utilities.  Contact Fara at 503 282 9999 to come check it out or for more info.

Office amenities:

outings with a 3 month old

I am a mother of a 3 almost 4 month old.  I have searched the internet for things I can do with her to get us both out of the house, but can not find anything.  I have found many classes and outings once she turns 6 months, but I really would love to get out before then.
I live in SE Portland, so prefer not to drive too far, but I am open.  Perhaps even a mothers group in the Woodstock area?
Thank you for any suggestions.
Stacy

Postpartum Chiropractic Care on NE Broadway

Postpartum chiropractic care on NE Broadway. I just had a baby about a month ago and my body was wrecked from the pregnancy and labor. My body continues to have aches and pains from holding my new baby, etc. I went to Flores Chiropractic at 2916 NE Broadway and I am finally starting to feel normal again! I am finally getting back to normal and feel I am able to start exercising again without pain. It is great. Plus Dr. Flores is really nice, laid-back, down to earth guy who really seems to care. Check him out – Dr. Noe Flores, 2916 NE Broadway, Suite B, 971-255-1922; drnoeflores@gmail.com. He just opened not too long ago, so his sign is not up yet. His office is behind the DocuMart not too far from Fred Meyer on Broadway. My kinks are getting worked out - Lynn

Post-natal fitness group- FREE bootcamp

Hi all-

I just had my 2nd child a few weeks ago and am looking forward to getting back into shape.  After the birth of my first child, I led a group of other mamas in a exercise group similar to the baby bootcamps held here and in other cities.  I thought, why pay for a class when all I really wanted was a group to help keep me motivated? It worked really well, and was a lot of fun, so I'd like to do it again.

I will be organizing a low-impact walking/calesthenics, 1 hour outdoor exercise routine in Inner NE Portland that can be done with your baby in a stroller.  So- if you have a pre-crawling baby and would like to get together with a group a few days a week to help lose the baby weight, I'd love to hear from you.  wubledoo@yahoo.com

Best,
Robin

Tandem Coffeehouse

Hi there,
I am the new owner of a small, mama owned, coffee shop in SE Portland, Tandem Coffeehouse. As a long time reader of urbanmamas, I thought it would be a fantastic place to let people know about our shop. We are very family friendly with a kids play area, family friendly local art and a growing menu of house made treats as well as sandwiches and soup. We serve Stumptown coffee and Dragonfly chai and try to use local products and vendors whenever possible. We will be having a story time once or twice week, and our play area is a great place for mama/ baby groups to meet. We are open from 7am-4pm weekdays and 8am-4pm weekends. We are also available for after hours groups or occasions.  Check out our Myspace page to learn more about the shop and the mamas who run it.

Thanks,
Shadeau and Amber

Does anyone know of a good home safety "babyproofer"?

I am looking for someone to come into my home to evaluate what needs to be done and to help make it happen. I am specifically looking for someone who is reliable, experienced, and professional.  I called "Portland babyproofers" but the dude never calls back. (: I am tired of waiting and do not have time or the skills to do this project myself.
