I am a local mom of 2 who is trying to find a new way for frugal parents to get good quality everyday wear for their children.  I like most moms saved all of my 1st borns clothing that was still in good condition for the second child.  Unfortunately the second child couldn't use 80% of them because he was born in a different season, 2 # heavier, and the opposite sex!  I didn't have any time to go to a clothing swap, nor the money to buy all new "used" clothing, so I started Hippola. 

Hippola gives parents the opportunity to swap their good condition everyday childrens clothing for clothing in the size, style, sex they need.  I swap 1 for 1.  Send me 20 items of 3 m baby girl clothing you can't use and recieve in exchange the 12m boy clothing you want.  Hippola is based in Milwuakie Or and wants to give local parents the opportunity to avoid shipping costs.  Email for pick up and drop off locations in town!!  Check us out at www.hippola.com

  I am having a garage sale on Saturday, September 3rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm.  I have tons of baby/toddler clothing.  It is all in excellent condition from a smoke-free home.

This sale is a benefit for a local mom who needs to raise money for lawyer fees. She left an abusive relationship and was granted a restraining order, but now the ex has hired a lawyer to try to contest it and get unsupervised access to their son. Please come out and support this worthy cause!

YES, that's right, i am doing my semi-annual purging of the stuff. this stuff feels like it is swallowing my home, but perhaps you have a place for an item or two (or 10 or 20, who am i to argue?) here you will find tons of new and lightly used toys, baby slings, clothes, furnishings, and other items...

i am constantly updating my craigslist ad and also have a TON of clothes (newborn-5 boy, newborn-10 girl, and teen/ladies/juniors small and medium) and shoes (same size range), and books and toys that i have not individually listed yet. also have a big dresser with a mirror attached and some kitchen appliances/ gadgets that i may be persuaded to sell! also a breast pump, petunia picklebottom diaper bag, little tikes slide and other outdoor items...
