Family and Home Preschool Seek Rental

Hi All,

My husband and I are in the process of searching for a great large house for not only our personal residence (as we relocate to Portland) but also one that would be suitable for (and allow) a certified home family child care. This is a great program we are excited to offer to the community, we just first need to find the right property!!

Any suggestions for us during our quest? We are looking for a single family home, large in size no small than 2000 square feet with a finished basement or some sort of second living room space, with at least 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Don't forget the fenced backyard, of course! We want to be in the SE area, close-in Portland. A tall order!

We scour craigslist multiple times a day and have placed wanted ads, what other ways can we proactive? We are looking to find a place starting in June and may just be a little ahead of the game but we are planners! We are new to the Portland area coming from Bellingham and can't wait to get some pdx mama insite.
