Win a Klean Kanteen on StumptownMom.com

K12PPS-IR_cart_preview

A few weeks ago we did our first StumptownMom give-away and one lucky reader won a brand-new Miracle Blanket.  It was so much fun to give something away - and who doesn't love winning? - that we're at it again.

With all of the recent news and discussions about BPA in water bottles and a certain company misleading consumers, you've probably taken a hard look at what's in your cupboard.  Not only is Klean Kanteen a family-owned company but they have always been BPA free.  All their bottles are pure stainless steel.  We're proud to give away TWO 12 ounce Klean Kanteen water bottles with sport caps in the cool Indicator Red color.

Join us over at StumptownMom to enter to win.  Give-away ends at 5pm PST Monday October 5th.

Got housekeepers you LOVE????

Hi mamas...looking for trustworthy, professional and affordable housekeeper/service.  It's appreciated if they use green products.  Any recommendations?

Kids Protection Planning Teleseminar for Full House Moms Group!

It's officially fall, and it's a great time to get the peace of mind you need before the holdays hit!  I am holding my popular Kids Protection Planning workshop by teleseminar, as a special gift to the Full House Moms Group of Portland! I wanted to open the call up to any Mom in Portland who wants to learn about the estate planning needs of parents.

Every family who listens to the workshop will not just
discover how to protect their children in the event something happens to them (the parents), but they will also leave with all of the tools they need to protect their children. I will be giving away everything that you need to make sure thatyour children never spend a minute in foster care, that they are always raised by the people that you would choose, and that your chosen guardians always know how you want your kids raised.

Why am I doing this?

I'm doing this because I have gotten very clear about my mission, which is to make sure that every parent is educated about what would happen to their kids if the unthinkable happened, and that they have the tools they need to take action and get everything in place, even if they can't afford my estate planning fees.

You see, my own mother died when I was 2 1/2 years old, and she died without an estate plan. What happened after that was a mess, and
I want to make sure that no child ever experiences what I experienced - foster care, unsuitable guardians, misused funds, and nothing to show me who my mother really was. The workshop is free, and the purpose is to educate parents about the law, and motivate them to take action based on what they discover. That's why I'm giving away gifts to each family that are worth $1,500.

If you don't have anything in place, like a will or a trust, or even if you do and you're not sure that it adequately protects your family, you don't want to miss this!

Details: The teleseminar will be held Wednesday, September 30th at 10:00 a.m.
Click here to register, and look for call-in details in your email inbox!

To your family's health & prosperity,

Signature

P.S. After this teleseminar, you will know exactly what you need in an estate plan as a parent, and you'll have the tools to make it all happen! Click here to register!

Restoring sexual energy after childbirth?

Hello,

I'm Gerri Ravyn Stanfield, a local Portland acupuncturist, www.forestspringacupuncture.com and I have been seeing a huge increase in the number of amazing moms with young children who are wanting their sex drives back!  I'm curious about whether these trends are just happening in my practice or if they are actually happening more often in the community.  A few years ago, I was working with increasing fertility for a lot of women who wanted to get pregnant.  Now, it seems that many of these folks are happily raising their kids, finding themselves incredibly busy and seeking to have active sex lives again.  How widespread is this?  I would welcome feedback from any Portland mamas out there who have something to say about this.  If you are interested in telling me experience, you can email me at forestspringacupx@yahoo.com.  I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks so much!

Gerri

Want to purchase a nice, used wood playhouse...

Other UrbanMamas--

We are interested in buying for a darling wooden playhouse, in excellent condition, for our three year old daughter. Kicker is that we'd like to pay someone extra to deliver it to our house (as in drop it off) because we have two small cars and probably won't be able to transport it over. We live off Highway 43 near Marylhurst in West Linn. If you have a wooden playhouse you would like to sell and perhaps deliver around $150, please let me know.

Do you love your Britax Frontier?

I am in the process of finding a new carseat for my son. He will be 4 in November but is only 30lbs, 39 inches. I've read tons of reviews on the britax frontier and they seem to be mixed. What attracted to me to this carseat is the 5 pt. harness that can be used until your child is 80lbs! But since the reviews seem to be mixed I want to know what YOU mamas think. Invest in the Frontier? Or move to a regular booster in the next year? And when have YOU moved your child to a booster?
