Hey there mamas!

I wanted to invite you all to come join me and a great group of mamas for SANCTUARY: A Monthly Yoga Class for Mothers. Take refuge from the fabulous chaos of motherhood with this special evening of quiet reflection and juicy asana practice - just for moms. In this class, we will take a much-needed pause to relax, restore and reenergize our bodies and our minds within a supportive circle of fellow mothers. Together we will use our yoga to cultivate a personal practice of joy and grace to support us in our daily journey of motherhood.  This class is all about YOU.  Two full hours of quiet, candlelight practice as we take a moment to step away from our daily routines and refocus our hearts and minds.  This class is open to ALL MOMS - whether you are new on the job or have been at it for some time!
Sanctuary is offered every third Wednesday of the month at the Yoga Shala on North Williams from 6pm-8pm, for $15.   Next class is July 15th! Hope to see you there!

Nothing taste as good as a fresh peach or pear, but they are not in season much of the year. The next best thing is serving your kids food that you picked or purchased fresh and canned at home. At The Good Jar we offers home canning and preserving lessons for mamas at every level.

We will be teaching 
pickling techniques, how to make low-sugar jams and other summer 
favorites like canned salsa and applesauce. Each class is $45, a 10% discount applied to registration for three or more classes. The two-to-three hour classes will walk you step-by-step through the canning process and include:

I am an energetic and enthusiastic teacher with 17 years piano teaching experience.  I teach beginning to adult students in my home studio with an emphasis on piano technic, music theory, ear training, and of course learning great songs! I work to make piano lessons enjoyable and fun.  

 We are a NE Portland family who has fallen on some hard times! We have an 11 month old son who is growing like a weed! We are in need of clothes in the 18-24 month range, 2T's and 3T's would also be useful. He is currently wearing wearing Size 5 shoes. We are not picky, provided the clothing is wearable!
