I wanted to let you Mamas out there know about my boyfriend's family pizza place in Northeast Portland.  It's called Brick House Pizzeria!  Starting on Monday, March 16, 2009; they will be opening for lunch at 11 am with a pizza, salad, and soup bar. Most importantly, Brick House as a Children's Play Area.  There is a big banquet room with children's toys and open space to play.

I live in Vancouver but from time to time meet up with friends in Portland, mainly on the east side. Is there a good place to meet where the parents can have coffee and the kids can play? We have a great one in Vancouver called Cafe Sip n Play and there's one I've heard of in Beaverton but nothing in outer East County.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

I wantd to share with everyone a large rummage sale coming up in April. All the details are below:

Are you a mom? Are you feeling overwhelmed by the realities of motherhood? You are not alone! Please join us in a counseling process and support group for mothers with children 8 years old or younger. Group meetings will focus on the emotional exploration of the idea of motherhood and the disconnect with the reality of what motherhood really means. 

Group will be cofacilitated by Alison Stawicki, MS, NCC, a professional adult individual counselor and Lindsay McGrath, MS, a professional marriage and family therapist. 
Our therapy group will meet in close-in Northeast Portland from 7-8:30 pm on Monday evenings. Starting date will be determined. $20 per meeting, 8 weeks of meetings.
