A New, Local Source for Barefoot Books!

I am excited to spread the word with the urbanMama community that I have recently become an independent distributor for Barefoot Books, an award-winning children’s book publishing company dedicated to bringing high-quality art and story to children from all walks of life. Founded in 1993 by 2 working mothers, the company has been committed to nurturing a love of reading in a way that encourages children to explore their creativity and discover the diversity of the world’s many cultures and traditions.

Barefoot Books and their accompanying children’s products are not sold in large retail bookstores, but rather through small, independent retailers and their Stallholders—many of us are mamas who just love the books and want to share them with our communities. As a Stallholder, I have the opportunity to sell one or two books at a time to a neighbor, host a home party, or to organize a school-wide Book Fair Fundraiser.
