Be a TriMet Model

Be a model...for TriMet

TriMet's marketing department is looking for some outgoing riders to be featured as models in future print, web and video advertising. If selected, your marvelous mug could be used in brochures, websites, TriMet TV episodes and various other materials that promote the benefits of riding transit. All work is volunteer, but you will receive a book of 10 TriMet All-Zone Tickets for your time and effort. TriMet is looking for a wide variety of people, so don't be shy!

If you'd like to be considered, send an email to casting@trimet.org with your name, your phone number, a recent photo of yourself, and a brief description of how you use TriMet transit services. TriMet will be accepting entries through Friday, January 4, 2008.

For Sale: Maclaren twin traveller stroller

I have a great Maclaren twin traveller stroller that is not getting as much use as I would like it too. It's amazing. Handles great, comes with RAIN COVER, and STROLLER BOOTS that act like a strap on blanket, and original box. We got after our second child but our three year old wants more mobility and doesn't want to sit next to the baby, so we're in the market for a sit n stand instead. We're a tall family so we love Maclarens; this is our third! You won't regret buying this stroller. 150$ so we can buy our next stroller. These retail for around 300$. Email parisrosenist ( at) gmail (dot) com for questions or to set up time to view.

OHSU Infant Feeding Study (Babies 0-3 months old)

i came across your website after hearing about it from a friend and saw you have a things to do section for moms. i did a study at OHSU where my baby bottle fed and she got $40 for it. i thought it might be fun for other moms and babies since a lot of people might like having an extra 40 bucks for xmas shopping. its easy so why not right? i dont have a scanner to scan the brochure i got but i heard about it on craigslist and this is what they have: http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/kid/494353979.html

Tessy & Tab Preschool Money Manager Toolkits

From the folks at Blue Lake Children's Publishing, which produces Tessy & Tab:

I want to share our newest product with you, The Tessy & Tab Preschool Money Manager Toolkit, as well as tell you about some other great gift packs for the holidays. We are very excited to have these new offerings because it gives people a way to spend $10 or $20 on a gift for a child rather than the year’s subscription price of $48. We’d love if you can help us spread the word about giving the gift of reading and learning this holiday season (lots of details below).

ISO BOB Revolution Jogger

I am looking to purchase a BOB Revolution jogger stroller, and since they are spendy, I’d love to find it used. Does anyone have a used one gathering dust that they’d like to find a good home for?

Please email me at lizdooley@comcast.net.

Thanks! Liz

Help for a Seattle Mom?

A friend of a friend in Seattle just had her 1st floor of her new home completely flood- 8 inches of standing water. Everything on the first floor has been ruined, which includes their bedrooms. She has a 2 year old boy and is looking for any one who might be able to donate their outgrown boy clothes (2T) or blankets. She is pregnant (and having a difficult pregnancy at that- many hospital visits) and is hoping that the mommy networks can come to her aid. If anyone has stuff they can donate, let me know and we can arrange to meet.

Thank you!!

lizdooley@comcast.net or call my mobile 503-680-9826.
