Fun, Adventure- Loving, College-Educated, Silliness-Causing Nanny Available!
May 22, 2013
My name is Ashley. I am 26 years old and recently graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in Texas back in December. I am looking for a full-time position, at least 35 hours a week, or even occasional babysitting- I am available anytime! While I was in school, I was a nanny for three children (ages 2-5) and was an occasional babysitter for a 4 & 10 year old. I have excellent references that I can provide for you and I have been babysitting on and off since I was 14. I love kids! I'm really big into reading (I absolutely love Fancy Nancy, Harry Potter and Eloise!), making music, dancing, eating healthy snacks, science experiments, going to parks, arts and crafts, adventure, imagination, silliness and sidewalk chalk. I like to create games and scavenger hunts. I am open to doing cleaning and meal preparation, and any other household chores that need to be done. I rely on public transportation so I will need a family close to the MAX or buslines. Please email me: where you found my posting, a little bit about your family, your rate, and your requirements at ashleyborck24@gmail.com if you would like to to meet to see if your family and I are a good match!

PT Nanny or Nanny Share needed in North Portland
Our family is looking for a part time nanny or nanny share opportunity for our 20 month old son and 5 week old daughter. I am just starting back to work after our daughter was born on February 13th. Our biggest need is on Fridays from 9:30 to 5:30, and we are looking for someone with flexibility to spend more time with the kids in the future as they grow and I build my acupuncture practice.
We are also open to nanny share, our house or yours or a combination of both. Our neighborhood is full of kids within a few blocks of the park!
We are looking for someone who has experience (with infants as well as children), and can be an extended part of the family for years to come, as we would like stability and familiarity for the kids.

~Terrific Part Time/ Full Time Nanny Open at the end of the Month!~
January 06, 2013
GREAT NANNY, JUST FOR YOU!
Hi Everyone,
My name is Jillian M. Currently I am looking for a new position as a Nanny. I was involved in a Nanny-share for almost the duration of the year but as the contract term ended and the children turned 1 they were placed in Montessori. I am comfortable doing either another nanny-share, or working for one family. I am comfortable working with up to 3 infants, depending on their ages, 4 toddlers, or 5 children in total but this would really depend on the overall dynamic of the situation. I am also comfortable doing care in your home, or mine. Ideally the position would provide at least 36 hours a week, but this is also flexable as I explore my options.
Here's a little information about me. I have an immense amount of experience with children. I started my babysitting career at 12 years old, after I received my Oregon babysitters training, and CPR certification. Since then, I have had experience in taking care of about 25 different children, usually two or more at a time (five max), in in-home settings. My experience with children ranges from newborns to 13-year-olds. About half of my clientele has been parents of children diagnosed with Autism. I have also worked and volunteered with a school that caters to meeting the needs of children diagnosed with Autism . My tasks at the school included building a summer reading program for some of the more advanced students. I directed the students during "signing times" videos (videos that teach the children sign language). I did teacher aide duties in the classrooms working extensively with the pre-schoolers, and in the occupational therapy room. In addition to this experience, I was also a camp counselor in high-school at Camp Howard outdoor school for 2 seasons.
I love to do activities with children. I am not the type of care provider who will sit children in front of the TV and do my own thing. Just to be clear, I rather children have no screen time during my time with them. I prefer for children to have fun. If the parent permits, I like to take them on outings to the park, or maybe a day to the zoo, children's museum, library, or swimming pool depending on the child's interest. I love doing art projects, or fun cooking activities, playing board games, and will even happily partake in dress up or tea parties. As well as making sure the children enjoy the time we spend together, I firmly believe in education. I like to come up with developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate the intellectual growth of each child. For school aged children I come in great handy for help with homework.
I am a student and am working towards a degree in early childhood education. I take courses through the local community college's online program, when I transfer next year I will continue primarily with online education. I am familiar with many learning/parenting styles includingMontessori, Waldorf, Attachment Parenting, and Positive Redirection. What I am unfamiliar with, I am willing to learn. My time spent with your children is based on your needs, their needs, and your parenting beliefs. I am very flexiable when it comes to this as I understand it is your child and I enjoy learning new styles.
I have a license, car insurance, and a car for transporting needs. In addition, I know basic Spanish, and am furthering my skills incase you are interested in your child learning a second language.
I would ideally like a position that offers at least a 1 year contract.
Best,
Jillian

Our wonderful nanny is looking for a new family – N, NE, NW, SE PDX
October 20, 2012
Our wonderful nanny Alisa is looking for a new family. With the new baby on the way and my husband travelling for work, we came to heartbreaking decision that live-in nanny would better fit our needs. The problem is, we love our nanny, and we don’t want her to go! So we are on a mission to find new perfect family for her.
Alisa has been with us for the past year, taking care of our finicky son Eydan. She started with us when Eydan was 6 months old and would not sleep for longer than half an hour. Through this year, she was with us with LO getting constantly sick, fussy, teething – you name it – and she never lost her patience. She has been calm, organized presence and she quickly became part of the family.
Alisa is always smiling, on time and imaginative with Eydan’s activities. She has lots of childcare experience and natural love for kids. If you would like any additional information, please feel free to contact us and we will be glad to answer any questions - milka_vevoda@yahoo.com. We will be sure to forward any information to her. She is flexible with her schedule and available as of week of October 22nd in N, NE, NW, SE neighborhood. Alisa has reliable transportation, but is unable to put a carseat in her car. It has never been a problem for us, but if you need someone with car with carseat, she may not be your gal. We highly recommend her and know that her new family will be very happy with her.
Thank you!
Mika Vevoda

Our wonderful nanny is looking for a new family – N, NE, NW, SE PDX
September 26, 2012
Our wonderful nanny Alisa is looking for a new family. With the new baby on the way, we came to heartbreaking decision that live-in nanny would better fit our needs.
She is flexible with her schedule and ready to start mid-October in N, NE, SE neighborhood. We highly recommend her and know that her new family will be very happy with her.
Thank you!

Mrs. Teapot’s Tiny Tots believes that children learn through play. We provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment where children interact with materials, their peers, and adults. We help young children use the environment to see themselves as capable learners—as individuals who are developing the skills and understandings that will enable them to make sense of the world and to succeed in it. We focus on stimulating both physical and cognitive development to generate life-long learners.
