Peace Tree School, A NE Montessori community, is enrolling Infants & Toddlers!

IMG_0682
We are a Montessori community with locations in NE & N Portland. Our environments are beautifully prepared for children 3 months to 5 years. We believe that quality childcare and early education is a collaboration between caregiver, family, child and classroom. The children at Peace Tree School benefit from trained and experienced caregivers, a partnership with families and a environment that fosters discovery and exploration. Our individualized and nurturing approach to early education is supported by the Montessori method and Magda Gerber's concept of educaring, also referred to as Resources for Infant Educareres or RIE. At Peace Tree, children are given the opportunity to thrive at their own pace and in their own way. Environments are designed to reflect the child's home environment with ample space for freedom of movement and many opportunities for children to gain the skills they need to be independent.

What we provide: (included in tuition)

  • Home cooked snacks & lunch.
  • Weekly yoga lessons from Honey Heart Yoga.
  • Weekly Art Curriculum catered to each group's development.
  • Daily music exploration and study as well as live music performances.

We are currently enrolling infants and toddlers for April-May and preschoolers for September.

We have an open house scheduled for Saturday, March 4th at 10:00am at our new location on N Commercial Ave. Please email us at peacetreeschool@gmail.com to RSVP and to inquire about our program.
