Hire our nanny!
My partner and I are moving out of state in September, and so we must let our much-loved nanny go. But since she will be looking for other employment, we wanted to let everyone know how incredible it has been to have her take care of our son. We don’t usually post this type of thing, but we think so highly of Alison that we feel we have to share. Alison has taken care of our son for 35 hours a week from the time he was 5 months old (and he’s now 17 months), and we could not imagine having had a better child care situation. Alison is reliable, flexible, playful, and works hard to make sure our baby is well-fed, rested, happy, and appropriately stimulated. Here is just a sample of why she is so great: She has taught him some sign language and has even brought books from the library so we could also learn sign language; she takes him swimming weekly; she takes him to the library for reading time; and she been known to play musical instruments for him since he loves to dance. What is great about the activities mentioned is that they were all her original ideas. She truly wants to give the best care possible. In short, we simply cannot think of anyone who would take better care of our child.
One of the many reasons we are sad to leave this city is that it is unlikely we will ever find another nanny as great as Alison. Please hire this kind, intelligent, reliable, and thoughtful individual. You will be thankful you did.
