Recommending our nanny for your family this summer
I am lucky to have a wonderful nanny. She is currently working for my family 4 days a week with our 13 month old. My husband is a teacher with summers off and so we don't need her all 4 days this summer so I'm trying to help her find some part-time temporary work for her this summer--either half days or up to 3 full days during the week. Her schedule is pretty flexible.
Here's why I think she's so great. She is one of those real finds who truly loves being a nanny--it's her career choice and she went to NW Nannies Institute to get professional training in the field. She plays very interactively with our daughter, always talking to her and babbling back to her, showing her creative ways to play with her toys, and even creating new activities for her like sensory bottles. She always leaves the house cleaner than she found it, is always on time, and leaves me a page of notes each day about how things went, etc. She's great with our dog as well.
She charges $12/hour which is a bargain in this town for a skilled and professionally trained nanny with great references.
If you're interested, please feel free to contact her at tiffany.breunig [at] gmail.com. We are in North Portland but I think she is willing to work most locations in Portland, Gresham, Vancouver.
