Affordable Childcare/ Tutoring/ Office/ Personal Assistant Available
I am a Stay-At-Home-Mama (SAHM) to 3 beautiful
children, ranging in age from infant to elementary school, and I also
have over 20 years of experience in childcare, education, and
enrichment. I am looking for children to watch, teach, tutor, etc (At
your home or mine). Cleaning, office assistance, personal assistance
also available.
All of my experience has taught me many things, amongst them:
~there is more than one way to learn, and every child deserves the best way for THEM
~"learning" does NOT mean you have to have every second of every day PLANNED- you find opportunities in children's natural curiosity
~it really DOES take a village to raise a child, so consistency and collaboration are important - for parent AND child
~you don't have to be rich to deserve top-notch care for your child
If you agree with these things, and would like your child in a montessori and waldorf - influenced environment, where the child is king (or queen), nutritional and delicious foods (allergies considered, of course!) abound, and all parenting styles and religious or spiritual beliefs are respected, please feel free to contact me. Our family utilizes attachment parenting, connected (unconditional) parenting, and NVC (non-violent communication), and eats mostly organic foods. Gluten-free diet available as well! I may be able to accept DHS payment too, just ask!
I am flexible on hours, rates, and would be willing to watch the children in my home (on the North Side of Mount Tabor/ Montavilla, near 82nd and Burnside) or yours, depending on the hours and specifics. I do not currently drive, though my husband does, so pickup and dropoff may be possible, as well as overnights, tutoring, laundry, cleaning help, etc. I welcome your family into our tribe.
