Open House: Waldorf inspired preschool
Rising Song is a small Waldorf inspired, home based program in NE Portland opening Fall 2009. We offer a loving, creative environment for children ages 3-5 with the low teacher/child ratio of 1:6. At Rising Song teachers act as facilitators of play offering gentle, nurturing guidance. In our classroom children participate in baking, gardening, painting and handwork. Songs, stories and puppet shows provide rich material for the imagination and teach about the natural world. We celebrate each season with special events for the whole family: A festival of light in the fall, a shadow puppet show in the winter and a maypole dance in the spring.
Rising Song has two open houses scheduled in June:
June 15th 6:30-7:30 and June 29th 6:30-7:30
