We've been on a roll of late, getting pinged by local electeds and local elected hopefuls alike. We're all for elevating our family issues to our city officials. Last week's meet 'n' greet with city council candidates --John Branam, Jeff Bissonette, and Chris Smith -- was just the beginning.
In our most recent effort, we are combining forces with Central Portland Families to organize a mayoral forum with two candidates: Sam Adams and Sho Dozono. Obviouisly, this is a big deal for Portland and for all of us mamas and papas out there. To that end, we'd like to find a time and place that works. Mark your calendars:
Mayoral Candidates talk FAMILY
Saturday, April 19th, 2008
1:00 PM to 2:30 PM
Mississippi Studios

Get those mamagendas ready. This'll be our chance!

Lisa,
Thank you so much for arranging these forums. The choice for city council and mayor has a pronounced effect on day-to-day life in Portland, yet it is so easy to overlook really examining the candidates and the issues.
If you are in need of a venue for any of these, I am more than happy to offer up Milagros but I could probably also arrange use of the Community Room at the Kennedy School, so let me know.
All the best,
Tony

So excellent to get these issues out front and center!

Please help us distribute this opportunity widely, so we can capture the needs/interests of families across the city. We want to be sure that the candidates leave with a full, realistic picture of what ALL Pdx families fasce, not just the squeaky wheels or those with best access.

I think that there is no reason to create the argument essay by your own! In fact, it would be more comfortable to purchase the comparison contrast essay at essay writing service, just because it will save time.
